Where is Merlin?
This campaign focused on growing the number of social media followers to the Lynchburg Symphony’s Facebook page.
Three videos that featured a personified perspective of my tuba provided humorous scenarios in short adventures. The videos were placed on Facebook, one each week for three weeks, as continuing episodes of Merlin the Tuba. They were used as a preface for a month-long series of visuals that placed Merlin in locations around Lynchburg.
Facebook visitors were asked to guess the locations where Merlin was pictured. Names of visitors who guessed his location were placed in a drawing for free tickets to an LSO concert.
Music in the videos was custom produced by Georgia and Clark Greer.
